Kata competition rules









KATA: rank categories

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP:

A) Brown and Black belts

Age categories:

1) Cadet 1993/1991 male and female separated
2) Junior/Senior 1990/1973 male and female separated

Athletes will be classed only according to their year of birth (whether they had already turned the age or they are going to turn it during this year).
Only kata of traditional styles are permitted (Shotokan, Shito-Ryu, Goju-Ryu, Wado-Ryu).
At each round, the competitors must present a different kata. Even on a decisive match on a drawn score a different kata must be presented but it could be repeated on the next round.
In the brown belt category is allowed "Tokui Kata”; before each poule the competitor must tell the kata he will do to the jury table.
would be applied the rules of WKF (finals with flags).
finals would be done even for the third and fourth place.
Remember that Blue and Red belts will not be supplied by the organizer.
All the competitor not provided with their own belts will be disqualified.
